The Countdown Is On!

In three weeks, give or take a few days, we will officially become a family of four! We could not be more excited! Jameson, however, has no idea what is about to rock his world. We have prepped him as much as we can, but I have a feeling that he thinks I just have a giant belly now, no big deal. This mysterious baby brother we speak of is apparently in dad’s and his tummy as well!image

Meanwhile, we have been very busy getting ready for baby and trying to spend as much time together as just the three of us. We also decided not to make any major changes to Jameson’s routine until after he and baby are settled into their new “world” for a few months. At that time we will work on moving Jameson to a “big boy” bed, potty training, and travel back to Portland for an adjustment/occupational therapy for his prosthesis. Speaking of the prosthesis, we continue to wear them daily and he now knows exactly how to open the hand! The process is steady and he is well on his way to understanding their importance.imageimage

We have been enjoying our time together before our lives get a little bit more crazy. The weather could not be any better, spring has been beautiful here in the Northwest! Jameson received a playhouse from Grandma Diane, which he loves! Jim is building a potting bench for me (currently in search of an old window and rusty old shelf brackets to add to it), and with the little energy I have left, I am planting a patio garden.😀image image image image image image image image
